where it comes to people there are four types of classification they will make about their living space:

  1. intimate - their most private area.
  2. personal - the area where they interact with their closest aquaintances. 
  3. social- the area for short social interactions.
  4. public - area where their is not a direct interactions with others.
the way each is define through our sense of proximity, which in turn determines the area of each of the categ.
