japanese practice yaneura design has completed ‘hagoromo house’, a dwelling squeezed between bordering homes in a residential area of osaka. the scheme runs along the rear of an adjacent property, with only a slither of the structure visible from the passing street. constructed from lightweight timber, the three-storey design echoes the scale of surrounding buildings, unobtrusively occupying its suburban plot.
